After searching for podcasts (and what the heck they were!) I decided to use Yodio; it seemed easy and like one of the more popular ones. Also, I began by trying to use Gabcast and got so confused! Call me crazy, but before doing this I had no idea what podcasting was. I had honestly never heard of anyone using it. From doing my research, I learned that podcasting is a way of creating and/or sharing audio content over the web. It can be used to share music, conduct classrooms online, hold meeting online, and record audio to share for about a million other reasons. I've never used podcasting in school but I'm guessing it would be a cool way for everyone to get together if we all had swine flu or something, since we wouldn't meet in the classroom :)
The process of learning the technology was pretty long. Trial and error, trial and error. I was pretty confused and frustrated at one point when I realized that I couldn't find how to use one audio track for all of my images, and so I made a separate recording for each one... which took a while. It was user-friendly for the most part, but I think there could have been more instruction on how to do a few things. I guess I understand though, since it's free!
So here it is. I tried embedding it onto here from Yodio's actual website a few times but each time it said there was an error so I gave up!
P.S. Sorry it doesn't sound all that clear. The whole phone thing didn't really help.
